SILISTAB® ACHILLO is an Achilles tendon brace with a class 2 compression elastic fabric, 15-20mmHg.
Properties : • Elastic mesh with specific mesh areas over the malleoli and reinforced knitting at the heel level. • Heel insoles that relieve the Achilles tendon. • Stackable heel insoles allowing two heights to be obtained depending on the condition. • Insert located over the Achilles tendon that protects and limits shocks sustained by the tendon. • Complementary heel inserts to balance the other leg.
Therapeutic indications : • Prevention and support of Achilles tendon pathologies: - Enthesopathy.- Tendinopathy.- Tenosynovitis.- Bursitis and Haglund's disease. • Aquilodynia after Achilles tendon surgery.
Contraindication : Do not place the product directly in contact with injured skin.
Fitting advice : Two pairs of heel inserts are supplied with the toe pad. Place the same number of heel inserts (1 or 2) on both sides, according to the advice of the doctor who recommended the device. 1. Put the toe on the foot, positioning the insertion over the Achilles tendon. 2. If necessary, overlap the two heel insoles by placing insole B (the thinnest) over insole A (the tallest). 3. Insert the base insole (A) or the two insoles (A and B) into the shoe of the foot that uses the toe pad. Carry out the same operation for the other shoe.
Conservation : • See product label. • Hand wash at 30 °C. • Do not use detergents, softeners or aggressive products (chlorinated products). • Drain under pressure. • Dry away from a heat source.
Composition : Polyamide, Polyester, Elastane and Polyurethane.
Sizes: Measure the leg perimeter in the thinnest area (just above the ankle) to correctly identify the size.
